What are the current regulations for hand luggage when flying to the UK since the prevented terrorist attack?
Answers:
you are allowed laptops but i think you're still only allowed 1 item of hand luggage, so if you take your laptop thats all you can take on. im flying out from manchester on friday, so if anybody has more info please tell us! (sorry for jumpin on your question!)
I'm not entirely sure because in the UK some airports have different regulations. What I have done and would recommend is to check with the airport you are flying from (go their website) and I'm sure you will find the information on there because I did.
Effects are made mostly when flying out of the UK or flying in from America, no liquids are allowed but your laptop will be, as for anything else however you may have a problem as it is still only one hand luggage allowed. I recommend travelling light and maybe stuffing the things you will need into any available pocket of your laptop bag.
i have just flown into Luton from Paris, the security coming into the uk is extremely strict although very inconsistent, it all comes down to the custom officer you are checking through with. Flying out of the uk you still need to take off shoes and belts but can now carry on duty free wine and perfume.
check with the airline as alot of airlines are different
dont you watch the news
