What is the best car navigation system to buy under £200?
Answers:
Tomtom. Mine cost me £160. Wouldn't be without it. Used to get lost all the time. Partner useless at reading maps, have to go around roundabouts 3 times before he would tell me which exit to take and we'd still get lost.
i think they're all a waste of time?
garmine R3. I used one to go to a small place in the lake district from Hull. It was spot on.
its got to be tomtom Go! ebay will be your friend!
A map!
A good book of maps.
Depends on where you are driving. Garmins are cheap but need additional software and memory cards if you go abroad. The basic TomTom would be ideal for the UK and once set up then you have to do no more to them.
Personally I use a Tom Tom Go 700 but I drive in Europe. It cost me £325 but I dont have to buy additional maps (map of France costs £90 alone) as the whole of Europe is loaded on the hard drive.
It is an excellent piece of kit that has totally taken out the stress of driving to somewhere you have never been.
I did look at all the cheaper options but when you add it all up with all the extras you need it becomes quite expensive. It would be worth spending the extra in the long run.
try a map it is cheaper than a fiver and does not confuse
