Rover 25 1.4i.. 84 or 105bhp?

How do I find out if a Rover 25 1.4 I'm looking at is an 84 or a 105bhp model - there is nothing in the logbook and nothing in the paperwork that came with the vehicle.its a 53reg.

No stupid remarks please or I'll send you an abusive email every day for the next few weeks. I'm fed up with the idiots on this site.

Answers:
go to www.autotrader.co.uk go to value car it will give you a price and tell you bhp insurance group aswell hope this helps
The MK1 MG ZR 105 was 105 bhp and had a twin cam K series engine, depends on MK of the Rover, but best bet is look on tax info if you can get at it as it should state bhp. Hope this helps!
Is is a GLI or a GSI?

The rover 25 1.4i GSI is 102BHP
The rover 25 1.4i GLi is 84 BHP

Jump in the car and take a spin there is quite a bit of difference in bhp so you will notice easily.
