ebay
Passat tdi estate/saloon. 60 mpg pretty quick, bigish.
Look at used Mercs or BMW 5 serise. They are nice and not boring, and rear wheel drive so a bit more fun.

What you need is a mondeo st24 estate, quick, comfortable, full of toys and dead reliable as they have a mazda 2.5 ltr v6 engine, try for one with the bodykit, not sure about the best thing to do with the 300zx tho as that is quite a specialised market, nice car tho,
get a conversion van with tv and all that stuff.
I've been looking at a Mondeo ST24 or an Accord type R..
