Got a prohibition order on my car for a faulty handbrake & now they want me to get another mot?

the prohibition order was not signed by me so is it legal?

Answers:
Yes it is very legal. What prohibition was it. A one day prohibition or a 14 day prohibition. Because either way if you dont get it repaired and re mot`d and sent off, you will recive a letter from VOSA with a fine. I did !
yes and you problem is ????????
Yes the order is legal and yes you should get the car MOT'ed. You should not drive if the car is faulty.
just fix it. . if its broken why try to prove the paper is not 100 perfect? so maybe they tell you ok have it inspected again. how do you win.
yes now get the car fixed and then get an mot.
stop being silly and waisting time.
Just do as the order requires . You should not have been using a faulty car in the first place.
yes mate its legal . u got 2 fix it and take it back . here in the uk , if that happens u ve got a couple of days 2 fix it b4 u have 2 pay 4 another mot .
Yes the order is legal and by the way watch out for the court summons for driving a car with a faulty handbrake which can be anything up to £200.00 pounds plus those lucky 3 points as well
sell the car, keep women drivers off the roads,
