Yes
I've read that it's one of the best, including coverage in Consumer Reports magazine.
i donno, i am after a new hatchback as well but i am going to play it safe and buy vw golf, cos it keeps its value and the parts for japenese cars r to expensive
Honda make a very reliable car. So if you are looking for reliability then look no further. Servicing is VERY expensive for this car however. Perhaps look at Toyota as well.
i had one and never had any problems with it.
No
the jazz gets a better wright up.
Parts expensive.
Fuel economy - bad.
Acceleration - slow.
i think it is cool but then again i am too young to drive one
Yeah, its a good car. All cars are pretty much good now these days. The problem with the Civic is that is so gosh darn ugly. It went from being vanilla and plain as a loaf of bread to being dreadful. Looks like it has chipmunk cheeks from certain angles. Just my opinion.

I hope this helps.
I have owned a number of Hondas, including the Civic. They have earned a well deserved reputation for both quality and reliability. It seems they are making the Civic their test bed for hybrid technologies, but the Si is my personal favorite.

I have noted the reference to "expensive parts" for Japanese cars and while I do not strongly disagree, it should be noted that unless you do something stupid you aren't likely to need anything but oil filters, air filters and occasionally tires. It is common to see Hondas run in excess of 200,000 miles with significant repair costs.

If you are not trading a car it is also possible to get very good deals on Hondas ($300-$500 above invoice) with a little research.
Top car,
Had one as company car but left job. Goes like the clappers and never had a problem with. Would buy one as personal car if could afford it!
I am a good person to give you advice on this question. I run a company called IntroCars.co.uk Ltd and we supply new cars nationwide at discounted prices. They are all from main dealers.

Anyway we are unbiased and I can tell you the Civic is a great car to buy at the moment. Honda has always been a reliable brand an now it is good to drive and equipment is superb. We sell a lot of Civic mainly on finace but all the same great discounts.

I say try one out. The 2.2 is a great car to drive. I have 5 deposits on Type Rs for the new year for my staff co. cars.

Why ? They attract attention and the Residual value is going to be brilliant tey hardly lose any money.

Hope I have been a help, if you want a price call us on 01376 514415. Our Honda Dealer is based in Essex and will be unbeatable.
Cant beat HONDAS superb cars and lots of street cred
yes it is good, civics are fuel efficient and runs forever, yearly checks helps to maintain it's engine after all there's not a car in the world that is maintainance free, if you want power get the honda civic type-r, 197BHp under the bonnet and a group 17 insurance, 0-60 in 6.4 secs, 6 gears manual.
whatever car you buy as long as you take care of it and not abuse the engine, you will get your moneys worth out of it, have fun driving
