Looking to get a new motor?

Citroen picaso Citroen C4 or Renaual Megane all look good.
What one out of these 3 do you think is the better??

Answers:
I've got a Megane lad. I like it.
i like the c4,better engineered.
I'd steer clear of both manufacturers as neither have particularly good build quality or reliability records and depreciation is likely to be heavy.
you have chosen 3 awful cars! french aswel- no offence but built quality is bad, depreciation is very high, generally these brands are bad with bad reviews. When you come to sell, it will be worth little.
you really should consider the vw golf( car o fthe year), german so built quality is exceptional, and it won't lose value like those french cars. vw is a top brand and going german is sensible, even tho they do cost more to start with, but u will see the bargain when u come to sell(not vauxhall).

try audi a4 too , bmw 3-series
There isn't really much to choose in them, but the Citroen HDI engine is very strong. Any of these though you will be hit by build quality or/and a reliability issue.
Have you thought about a Nissan Almera Tino, virtually the same platform but all things being equal you should have a better built vehicle with an excellent back up service.
Hope this helps.

Summary
Megane Scenic is synonymous with the compact MPV market for a reason: it was the model that defined it. Keenly pricing, unheard of practicality and a roomy, raised seating position gave it instant family-appeal. Now even early examples can be picked-up for less than £5,000, making it truly accessible.
Value
Enduringly popular and getting cheaper now; quite well equipped but not as robust as rivals.
Costs
Fuel economy is good in this class; 1.9 diesel models are the most frugal choice; competitive insurance and service costs.
Reliability
Plenty of niggling mechanical faults with earlier cars; many reports of interior trim squeaks and rattles.
Driving
Handles safely enough but feels a bit soggy when cornering; tall body means body roll is very noticable.
Performance
1.6e struggles a bit when fully laden; 2.0i is swift; 1.9 dT and DTi diesels are a bit gruff but offer acceptable acceleration.
Comfort
The driving position is very upright; excellent visibility; not much load space with five people on board.
Image
A popular, sensible family choice; styling is clean but bland.
Safety
Driver’s airbag on all models; passenger airbag and ABS as standard on RXE; no NCAP test, unlike the later, safer Scenic.
Security
Effective immobiliser on all models, but an alarm is only an extra-cost option – even on top RXE models.

Model by Model

RT adds twin manual sunroofs and electric front windows; RXE has twin electric sunroofs, electric rear windows, alloy wheels, roof rails, front fog lamps, air conditioning, twin airbags, velour trim and 6-speaker audio.
CarCheck
Body: Leaky sunroofs; parking knocks and scrapes, particularly on rear. bumpers; damage to interior from kids and animals.
Engine/Gearbox: Broken wiper motors, oil leaks, poor hot starting; some reports of expensive problems with auto gearboxes.

Quick Summary
Recommended. Good-looking replacement for the Xsara which deserves to do well against key rivals like the Ford Focus and Vauxhall Astra. C4 boasts an innovative interior and is easy to drive.

Full Road Test
The C4 is so radical that it's hard to believe it comes from the people that brought you the Xsara. Based on the same platform as the conservative Peugeot 307, Citroën has sculpted a futuristic coupe/hatchback with sleek lines and a highly individual rear end. It makes the new Focus look humdrum in comparison and the interior is equally as cool. Key features include fixed hub steering, which places some of the instrumentation in the middle of the steering wheel itself. Buyers can opt for a panoramic sunroof - or even a range of specially commissioned perfumes to brighten up the interior via the air conditioning. The two HDi diesels are the pick of the engines, with light steering and a smooth five-speed gearbox making the C4 a pleasure to drive. There's a sleek and sexy coupe version with sportier looks too. However, interior space is tight compared to the Focus - Citroën still wants to sell lots of Picasso compact MPVs.
