What is the correct tyre pressure for a 1996 fiesta?
Answers:
You can read the max tire pressure that is embedded on thesidewall of your tire, you can look it uop in the owners manual or you can look inside the drivers door for the tire size and air pressure sticker.
good luck..
im sure its around 36psi
depends on the tire. we are slowly changing back to higher pressure tires like the 1930s.
Look on the side of the tire, it will tell you the recommended pressure, for example 35PSI
Don`t go by the automobile go by the tire. It will have max.PSI on the side of the tire fill it to what it says. eg.max psi 44
DO NOT INFLATE TO THE TIRE P.S.I. LISTED ON THE TIRE! There will be a manufacturers recommended PSI label either on one of front door jams or the inside of the glove box lid. Keep your tires inflated to the car manufacturers PSI, and check only when cold- (not driven for 1-2 hours).
I think there are some very good answers here. And I agree that you shouldn't inflate the tire to its maximum rated pressure (on the side of the tire). With the suggestion of using the manufactures specs keep in mind people don't always use the same tire style or size. Not that this is wrong because it is a good guideline. I would say either check with the people that sold you the tires. Or ask someone that does that can see what you have. The reason this is so important is because if you run your tires regularly at maximum pressure you will tend to wear out the centre of the tread. If you run them too low on air your tire will heat up expand and potentially explode. Usually under most conditions 30 - 35 psi works well. But check it out Good Luck!
28psi unladen 30-32psi laden on check pressures when cold
go by the door sticker..the tire you have can fit on many other cars and trucks the tire just tells you the max pressure.
