Audi A3 sport,problems with interior light.?

The dashboard display keeps showing that the passenger side door is still open when closed,and so this means that the interior lights stay on and also the alarm will not set as normal.

there is no switch in the door jamb of an Audi a3 - the switch is built in to the door lock and you will need a new lock to sort this problem
Check the door jam switch. If nothing else disconnect it and wrap the wires with tape. Hope this helps.

Larrys right.. I say go to dealer. they can fix it in 10 min for 25 or 35 bucks.
Sounds like you have a loose wire on the passenger side door pin which is the device that looks like a plunger some where in the door apperture
