Recommendations for scooby car insurance?

Im 19 and am looking to buy a new car. I really want a subaru impreza, not too fussy which! wil have to be second hand, probably around 98-99 year of manufacture but insurance is scary! will prob go under my parents name but was just wondering if anyone knows of a company which insure scoobys relatively cheaply

Answers:
Adrian flux does young drivers with fast cars but your gonna really struggle to get anyone to insure you on a scooby, esp. a turbo. Your better to start off with a lesser power car thats still pretty quick and wont cripple you on insurance. Look for a honda crx v-tec, toyota mr2, even a smaller turbo car such as a renault 5 turbo, dihatsui charade etc wont be as bad on insurance.

Oh also try the scooby owners club as they will have deals with different insurance companies to get it cheaper.
My Scoob is insured through Tesco value insurance. You can put the excess up to anything you want to keep the premium down.

I would be amazed if you could get a quote that is less than the cost of the car. No offence intended, but at your age you'll be a liability with an Impreza.

Good luck friend.
Try Quinn Direct, there a little irish company i just got first insurance for less than £600
You could try Norwich Union or Tecos I hear they are cheap enough for insurance other than that speak to the people who insure your parents care. Thats what I did and they insured me on my own insurance cheaper than any of the other firms I got quotes from as my parents had been customers for years with no claims.

Hope this helps!
You will be lucky to get it cheap specially being male and under 21
