How do I touch up my paintwork?
Answers:
Rub both your hands in a circular motion on the paint, gently caress the paintwork in a loving sensuous manner, paying close attention to your seductive technique, until the paintwork starts to get all moist..OH! That kind of 'touching-up'.hehehe!!
i worked in auto body for 25 ys..and i would get some 400 grit sand paper.and wet sand it..fill scratch in with auto putty/filler.then spray paint lightly
With more paint??
Try tcut!!
Try buffing it out before repainting. if the scratch is only in the clearcoat layer (which it sounds like it is).
To buff:
Use super fine sand paper 1000 grit. Wet your sandpaper. Sand just deep enough to get rid of the scratch. This will leave a dull appearance to the area that you have sanded. Get some good polish, and a power buffer to fix the dull look.
Does this work? Yes, I've seen it done 15 times already today :-)
If this does not take care of it, then the scratch is too deep, and it needs to be spray painted. Not much lost because you need to sand it down before repainting anyway.
If you treasure the car get one of these auto-motive paint guys who call to your house to repair it they do an excelent job and cheap as well
try t cut and buff it out if that doesnt work a touch up pen
don't be tight - put your hand in your pocket and get done properly -anything else and you ll make it look worse
