probably becuase you are a british citizen but think you find thats the way now as being part of europe etc.
European drivers testing is much more difficult than U.S. testing, they must know about 120 road signs for example. You can only miss 5 when I took the test plus they inspect your car also if it fails you fail.We got it easy really to drive in America compared to some other nations.
The point would be sharp, right ?
I so agree and why dont the polish etc have to sit a driving test here before they are let loose on the roads
The other side to that is that I can drive in other countries on my UK driving licence.
How do you know that their driving tests are inferior?
People from non E U countries have to sit a U.K. driving test after 12 months ( I think ) to continue driving here legally. The U.K driving test is a lot tougher than tests in other countries such as U.S.A Canada and most third world countries. Driving standards in Eastern Europe are not as high as here but if they are EU members they are legally entitled to drive here as you are over there. There are some pretty rubbish Brit drivers with U.K licences too
It must be hard to sip tea while taking your test?
Most of them are illegeal immigrants therefore all carry diplomatic immunity from prosecution. They even get support from police bodygaurds if they can prove their insane killing machines! Not to mention a free dinner with the queen upon entry.
What makes you think that the British licence is superior ?
Many foreign licence tests are a lot harder tha the test in UK
The test is just that a test. You learn to drive by driving - the severity (?) of the British test does not automatically mean the British driver is better.
