Ecotec Valve, and Vauxall Tigra.?

Connor is correct no such a thing as ecotec valve ecotech is the type of engine used.Did you mean EGR valve this is the exhaust recirculation valve its bolted to exhaust manifold.Carpand you are incorrect if you did this to a Tigra you are asking for trouble the Ecu is going to be fed false information.All that you are doing is to introduce an incorrect air fuel mix.Regards Mick.
Split the pipe that runs from your brake servo and fit the Ecotec valve into each end of the open pipes, don't forget to put a couple off jubilee clips on to secure it. To set it unsrew the locking ring on the valve and turn the top part of the valve upwards and it will start to make a raspy sucking noise, you can rev the engine by using the throttle control in the engine bay(if your not sure where that is get someone to rev the engine using the pedal while you watch, you can't miss the movement), adjust the top of the valve so its just taking air in then turn up the locking ring to secure.hope that helps. I have one on my Freelander and had one on my Focus before that !
Connor B and Mick are both wrong, but probably without knowing.its an add on that saves on fuel and increases power which can be purchased from any motor mod shop for around £40.00 !
