points stay on your license for 3 years, but will actually be on the license until you change it, they are only counted over a 3 year period.
SP30 for speeding stays for 3 years.
They are applicable for 3 years. however the DVLA do not allow removal from the license for 4years. And after that you have to declare them to your insurance company for 5years!!
