Windscreen wiper judder?
Answers:
They are dirty, wipe them with hot soapy water and and a cloth until they are clen. then they will judder no more
clean the wiper blades with meths.
Sticky blades. Clean 'em with vinegar, nature's wonder product.
use standard washing up liquid in the wiper water tank for a start,it reduces drag.the wipers may be too tightly pressed against the screen, try to gently bend the metal wiper arm away from glass.also could be caused by wiper blades not touching screen evenly, maybe use wd40 on the joint were blades fix onto arm.
Possibly a choice of three things,or all.If you have a diesel engined car this often causes a judder when engine fumes get onto the windscreen. Also it might be the rubber on the blades, they might need changing. It's always wise to clean your windscreen with spirit occasionally due to the fumes of other traffic.
buy new blades!!
don't know. my 97 Saturn did the same. tried new blades , new wipers , cleaned windshield with Windex, with straight ammonia, and put rain x on it. sold the car for many reasons, including judder.
you must have grimy windscreen or wipers from city living, give them a good going over with vinegar (just plain old vinegar not balsamic or anything) it works a treat
could be grease on the windscreen, try cleaning it with vinegar and newspaper.
prob dirty blades or screen or the arms are twisted, grip the arm with two pairs of pliers and twist a little so the blade is at an angle to the screen.
Change the blades. They are only good for about a year.
Sometimes the arm holding the blades gets bent so that the blade does not 'trail' as it moves across the screen or the 'flip flop' action is inhibited in some way.
Watch the blade move and see if this is the problem.

Your wiper blades are dirty or need replacin, use some vinegar on a cloth.
Clean the windscreen with thinners as sometimes tree sap or other deposits cause the problem.
