I wish to ventilate my car but not let in thieves or mosquitos?

Open the window a tiny bit too small for even mosquitos
I use a pair of plastic grills designed for dogs on the side windows but you would need to add a fine nylon mesh too. On their own the grills wouldn't stop any insects.
The grills cost about £5 from Pet shops.
Do you have a garage you can park in with the windows down? I wouldn't worry about the mossies - they will get in if they want through the ventilation systems. Just get some repellent inside like you use on holiday.

Are you suffering from damp inside? You can buy things from woolworths that absorb damp. They are meant for wardrobes but can be used in a car - only a few £ each.
