I'm thinking of going to car craft to buy a car?
Answers:
DONT DO IT!!
I've had experience with both Yes Car Credit and Car Craft!
Car Craft promise you can drive your new car away within an hour!! What a load of rubbish, i was there for about 6 hours and then had to return the following day!! And the interest rates are unbeleivable!
Yes Car Credit - pretty easy to get your car, helpful staff but then again, the interest rates are very very high.
These type of places prey on people who want a car but have no credit history.
What about a parent or close friend co-sign so you can get the original car you wanted.
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Don't do it. you will be paying 10 times its value for the rest of your life. you are better off applying for a personal loan from your bank. They will have a MUCH lower interest rate and you will be able to pay the entire loan amount off if you sell the car in the future. You may as well just bend over and grab your ankles if you go somewhere like yes(who have gone bust by the way) or car craft because you will get taken up the a**e.
it will end up costing you a couple more grand than its says over the years be care-full!
;-)
i've never used a finance company for a car but if you seen the documentary about yes car credit maybe you should avoid them. they seem like a bad bunch
Rip off, you might as well buy a massive dildo and do yourself up the @rse. The feeling will be pretty much the same.
Dont do it . u end up paying way over the odds for a car and the hassle is just not worth it .
mate had soooo many problems with them !
DONT DO IT MATE THE INTEREST RATES ARE MAD, THE CARS ARE OVERPRICED AND SALES PEOPLE ARE FULL OF CRAP! GET A LOAN OFF YOUR BANK AND IF THEY CANT GIVE YOU IT THEN YOU CANT AFFORD IT. WAIT TILL YOU CAN AFFORD A CAR. TRY YOUR BANK THOUGH ITS WORTH IT. BUT DO NOT GET A CAR FROM CAR CRAFT OR OTHERS LIKE THEM.
They mark-up a couple of grand above list price on their cars, so be careful. Make sure you take a auto-trader or similar used car guide with you so you can see if they're really taking you for a ride. Have you tried getting an unsecured personal loan? Do a like-for-like comparison of overall interest rates you will have to pay and keep an eye-out for hidden charges. Take a friend with you when you go so you can get a second opinion.
Please don't go to car craft, yes car credit or car land.
These places specifically target those with no credit rating / history, etc.
Consumer reports conclude that their stock tends to over priced and / or of poor quality.
Better to go to larger more professional businesses such as :
I hope this helps.
after 27 yrs in trade i must advise caution when looking at any car take along someone who can fully check the car dont forget to insist on warranty check all small print avoid cars with high miles as with higher miles fair chance its been either company use or worse still hire car insist you check all registration books service records make it clear you can arrange either aa or rac inspection before you compleat chances are if genuine you will tell by their reaction haggle check parkers trade value avaible in news agents or free in auto express magazine watch out please i hear poor things about motor trade everyday i investigate on behalf of the hard done fellow motorist dont rush ever all the best jon
Dont do it only heard bad things about car craft
never buy a car on finance, and defently not from one of those finance based car supermarkets you will lose lots of money, their prices are not great to start with usually, then you have interest and the whole time the car is depreciating. My inlaws bought a second hand car on finance they still owe about £1000 more than the car is worth currently.
