Peugeot 205 1991?

Need to change rear radius arm bushes stripped it down as far as I can but cannot get the arm off because there seems to be something stopping the torsion bar from coming out does it need a special tool to pull it. Can anyone help

Answers:
hi hun

no it doesn't need an extra tool but a load of wd40 on the bushes as the bushes will now have established themselves onto your torsion bar and back suspension. Adding the wd40 will completely loosen the lot up xxx hope this helps xxx
It's probably seized/corroded in. As far as I know the torsion bar is splined, don't know if there's a special tool but a blow torch and a big hammer might be the answer. Mark the position of the torsion bar in the arm before removal so you can put it back in the same position. Hope this helps.
