Depends if they meant you speed,are arrogant toward other drivers, change lanes constantly if stuck in traffic on a motorway etc. or wether they simply meant you can park in less than two attempts, pay attention to the road as opposed to your make up and pull away from an island in good time instead of waiting for a lorry sized gap! p.s. I'm a man!

If I were you, I'd take it as a complement, even more so if it was some fair-trade-hippy or baggy-breasted feminist type who told you this.
Depends, us men are much more competant behind the wheel and a good male driver is far safer on the road than a woman, which means it's a compliment. However if you drive to your limits all the time then it's certainly not a compliment as some male drivers tend to do this which makes them bad drivers. A bloke that's 5ft 5in tall, has a shaved head and thinks a Mitsubishi Evo is cool, is a really bad driver. And probably beats his girlfriend up which she deserves for staying with him!! but a normal guy that drives like a normal human being, uses his ability to judge problems and gaps without pushing himself beyond the limit, that's a compliment.
