Should I wear flight socks on a four hour flight? I have bad circulation to my feet and its my first flight!?

Answers:
I would you should also take enteric coated asprin fi not taking it all ready, you should keep taking the asprin as it keeps the blood less "sticky"
yes a very good idea, and speak to a chemist about taking small dose aspirin for a few days before and after the flights to help prevent DVT's
absoulutly!!!
If you have bad circulation - yes.
If your in good health don't worry about it, I regularly do 9 hr flights, with no socks. Although my feet swell up a bit.
And get up and walk as often as you can.
better to be safe then sorry and try and walk around a bit
Yes. Walk around a lot. Even if it's only a four hour flight, you don't want to risk getting deep vein thrombosis.
I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman for 20 years and was diagnosed with diabeties a year ago. I would recommend the flight socks since you already have a problem with circulation.
Just walk around, you dont need to be sat down all the time. That works for me, i fly long haul (12 hours plus) often and this keeps me from any problems
Not sure. Check with your G.P.
ted hose socks work well for circulation problems. walking the ailses every 15-20minutes with 15-20 minutes sitting helps. remember drinking plenty of water is also a key
not really necessary for 4 hour flight but wear them if you feel happy to do so i dont think you have a problem with DVT keep walking to the toilet and back to your seat good luck on your first flight enjoy it
Also follow the instructions for the exercises that are provided in most in flight magazines. They work very well. Plus drink lots of water. This way you will stay hydrated and will need to use the bathroom lots which means you will have to walk around a bit.
hi ive just traveled on a four hour fligt from the uk to turkey i wore flight socks and i advise you2 the also keep your feet worm
not worth a try..
yes i would and go for a walk down the isle occasionally.
Definitely . just for your own piece of mind.
If you think that there is a possibility that you should, then go for it.

ifr it is your first flight, then see how it goes at the 4 hours, if on the weay back you think they were needed then wear them again, and if you think you didnt need them, then it will be cool to carry them on in your pocket, and if they do become needed then quickly slip into them.
Go by bus - it's safer!
