Post Office Tracking Code?

I've posted a package to the states but on the post office receipt where can i find the tracking code!

There probably isn't one unless you sent it by express or registered mail. Sometimes a post office can track a package by the customs number. If you have that number, you might try USPS.COM. The international postal congress is still working on a system of tracking that works globally.
There isnt one on a standard reciept Its usually on a recorded delivery slip or special delivery slip. Not sure about airmail.
there's isn't postal tracking outside the uk, and not on airmail. Any tracking stops at the airport.
it is only only special ones, not all, you might have to contact the seller of the product and ask for the code, then ther is a site wher u can track the item on its journey
