Was there a british number plate banned because it spelt EAT ME when viewed looking in your rearview mirrors?

Answers:
I doubt it, 'eat me' is not really offensive unless you are reeeeeally sensitive :) I read in the paper the other day though that GO05TEP has been removed from DVLA database in case it upsets the Germans.
haha i have no idea but thats funny
Unlikely, because it would have had to have been 3MTA3, and they've never been issued in that format before.

How sad am I to know that!
I saw a plate that slipped through the cracks, sorta speak:
A55MAN
It's entirely possible, since any plate that gives an offensive phrase will be pulled.
No but ATW1T is amusing.
