How do i change the rear diff oil on my bmw 318i ?

i have a 318i its a 92 model on a j reg . my rear diff has started to whine so i want to try changing the oil before i go any further , yes i know how to change it lol but i need to know before i go underneath the car what is the exact size socket or allen key needed to undo the drain plug because my tool kit is very limited so i need to buy the correct size but i only want the one size lol . thanks

Answers:
I believe it's a size 11mm allen key, but sometimes can be 14mm, there are kits on the market, usually called drain socket kit and can cost around £15.
Get under there and measure it. Don't take someone else's word.
11 or 14 mm allen key
