Im financing a car for my partner but want the car registered in her name and under her address.is this poss?
Answers:
Depends on the state you live in. It is possible but you will have to still have your name on the insurance in case of an accident, and title. Because you are responsible for the loan. Contact your local Dept. of Motor Vehicles for information, and speak with the loan company for their rules.
No but you can have the bill sent to her house, she can be on the loan with you. why would you want to do this anywasy, ot s a big risk.
Totally poss matey, I got finance on a car for my hubby and it's registered in my name! I also signed finance for a car for my parents in law and that too is registered to me. Call me STUPID if you will, but if I can help, I will!

As far as im aware yes it is possible, the finance company will have all the paperwork with YOUR details etc but the car can be registered in ur partners name. Its important to remember that that the registered keeper on the V5 logbook is not neccasraily the owner of the vehicle. I did exactly this on my old fiesta. i had the finance but had it registered in my partners name, saved on insurance cos it was cheaper for her.
Yes, just sign on as the co-signer and let her be the primary owner what if she stops paying your stuck because your names on the title and dont bother fighting it in court you'll lose.
yes you can, the name in the v5 is the registered keeper, not ness the owner, in law the owner is the person who paid for it and who's name the invoice is in.
