Have i been nipped?
Answers:
Probably but you may get away with it if camera was the other way. Wait 14 days and if you don't get anything in the post, you have got away with it. (this rule does not apply if you were driving a company or hire vehicle) Police are allowed longer amount of time if car was not yours so they can trace you.
oops didnt read properly!
if you were speeding its ur own fault regardless of what
sorry
Your ok, don't panic.
oh their sneaky, all you can do is wait but if you do get a fine sent write to them and ask for a photgraph sending they wont have it so they will drop the whole thing, trust me.
If you don't hear any thing in two weeks your OK, I was doing 130 mph, how I got away with that I have no idea.
Ahh.. Photo Cops. Wonderful things they are. Even if you receive something in the mail it would be very difficult for them to prove you where the one driving it right? After all they only have a picture of your car and the back side of your head. How are they going to prove YOU where the one driving the car? when I have received stuff like this from Photo cops unless it is a really clear picture they can not prove who was driving the car. I have never paid a photo cop ticket and I've had 7 of them. a lot of the city's where I live have stopped using them all together because they where hardly ever able to make money on them. so I think you will be safe. they simply have your plate number not who was REALLY driving the car. fight it and I bet you will win.
no you wont get a fine its against the law to take a flash picture on a on coming car i do it all the time ;) and to beat the speed camera get a new set of plates made up and change 1 digit on one of the plates and put it on the back ;) and put it down to a simple error from the shop you got them from it works trust me thousands of people are at it.. example if your reg was V347 kgy change the back plate to V342 kgy and no more road side speeding tickets yee haaa.. its a simple error and they cant prosecute its a loop hole enjoy
Doubt it, cause I have heard they can only have you from the back, not the front - for fixed cameras (yellow ones)
only time will tell, you'll find out when a letter from the local constabulary of the area you where clocked speeding is dropped on to the mat by your postie,
there is no point worrying until you know for sure but be more careful next time and yes you will get at least three penalty points and a fine, but put it down to experience and the knowledge that the lorry was speeding too so he'll get exactly the same as you.
just don't do it again, if you don't get anything say thank you and next time you will be more careful and not do the same move again.
If it is facing the place you are going, it couldn't. Especcially on a curve, it isn't accurate.
If you weren't in the camera's view then it can't get you. Also if they do try to prosocute you then you can claim back they are not legally allowed to take a photo that could include your face without your permission. They can take a video recording of you but not a photo.
