The cost of insurance depends on many many things such as the type of car, size of the engine, safety features, where you live, where you park it at night, how much you use it, what you use it for etc etc. The best thing to do is go to a few car insurance websites and get quotes for various cars and see what works for you!
You can only drive on the Malaysian licence for the first year in the UK. After that time you have to obtain a UK/EEC licence or you are commiting the offence of " Unauthorised Driving" along with thousands of others.
You may also have to look at the fact that you have been here for 4 years already. If that is the case then you will need to take a UK driving test as you are only allowed to "drive" on your own licence for one year from arriving in the country.check that out with a reputable driving school..

If you have been there that long, you should already have a local license. And of course a sports car is higher on premiums that a 'normal' sedan.
