Ford Cougar?
Answers:
Mercury Cougar. Probably condensation fro your heatercore.
Mercury made the Cougar,a Ford subsidiary.Sounds like you have a leak in the seal on your windshield or door.Might also be a floor vent.Check to see if there is a handle under the dash that opens or closes a vent.My guess would be the windshield though. Check for an oily consistency or odor.If it smells funny or is oily take it to a mechanic soon.
You may have a leak in your winshield seal on that side, is the water close to the dash? or is it off to the side, like the side window leaking? These might be very hard to find. have a friend spray water in different areas of the windshield while you are inside the car, be patient.
Ive got a similar prob on my ford Orion i caused it myself when i fitted an amp to my stereo i pulled out a grommet (piece of rubber like a cap) so now every time it rains heavy i get a little puddle on my mat. so check Ur wires if u've got an amp or iced out Ur system. hope this helps
Check to see if your windscreen is leaking at that side, normally this happens at the corners of the screen.
i would say its coming from the door packing or the windshield.go to the auto parts store and pick up a tube of clear silicone glue for windshields and put it around the glass and see if that helps.
