Snow tyres?

We're coming up to our first snowy season in Canada and need to buy a set of snow tyres. Any suggestions for the best to get? For a Freelander.

Answers:
go to Canadian tire and ask for blizzacks ( not sure of spelling) they seem pretty good, don't forget you want, something good for ice and slush also, if your not sure about driving in the snow find a empty parking lot at night , and drive around ,skidding, turning , correcting , all of your basic driving skills, get use to your car in the snow. if a cop comes around tell him/her that you are getting use to everything, i do it every year just to get my snow skills back, good luck and take it really easy, peterbourgh, Ont..
Landrovers own 225/55HR17 mud & snow tires
snow tyres are snow tyres ,basically you get what you pay for.consider how much driving you do [in the snow]and price from there.
colway remoulds are a good bet
theyre really nice & chunky
try and get slightly thinner tyres for snow and ice as well
because less surface area digs in better
I agree with Dave, Bridgestone Blizzaks are an excellent bet. I love the set I have used. Even Consumer Reports has rated this tire a good bet for winter safety. Buy 4, not just 2!
