Speed cameras- do the little mobile van ones work in the dark??plz help?

the little white speed camera vans, can they clock you in the dark?? or are they just acting as a deterant?

Answers:
they work all the time. little bastards
Afraid so have you just been caught? hope you have"nt
They work all the time, day or night. Sorry about that.
Why in hell do the authorities call them "Safety cameras"? They don't measure safety, they measure speed, it is not the same thing. Why in Britain, does everything the Government do so overtly and obviously political?
oh yes i am afraid so.
Sorry but yes they do,guess you think you got caught?
Sorry but they can clock you in the dark, Bad Luck not good news for you there
I understand they can because it works on radio waves. The principle of Radar. Sneaky little buggers, but they certainly can get us.
I agree with Doodey Dude. It is as much about safety as putting warning lables on blow up dolls. political all the way round.
It is a way to make money, no more no less, without having to pay for coppers. Screw us, not enough coppers to keep us safe, and yet say it is a safety camera. They just want more and more money.
sadly they do work in the dark but then if your not breaking the law you havent got a problem
