Hi. Please can someone urgently let me know when one can park on a single yelow line, and when on double? Can one ever park on a red line? Obviously referring to London here! Thanks
Answers:
Hi the basic rule in london is never park on a red line, single yello are usually ok evenings and weekend, read the signs.
Hope the link helps
Each London Borough has its own website with further info
For a single yellow, you must read the sign near it for restrictions. Never on a double yellow or a Red Route.
Watch out for the nasty parking attendants.
Outside advertised restriction hours, parking on a single yellow line is permissible. Parking on a red line or a double yellow line is never permissible and heavily enforced.
