Pensioner Disabled Driver?
Answers:
Too many people regard driving as a way to confirm their macho credentials.
I'm middle aged, and get tailgated, and dangerously overtaken frequently. I don't think I drive especially slowly, but others seem to treat driving as an outlet for their aggression.
Unfortunately, such sad individuals do not think about the consequences that their stupid actions could have, namely the death of a father, mother, or children.
These aggressive drivers cannot be categorised by age; the only common factors seem to be poor education, immaturity, and lack of awareness. No doubt they'll learn the hard way.
Keep up the good work.
Some people have no respect for our elders.
It has nothing to do with age or infirmity, some folks just need to over take everything in front of them.
If you are going as fast how do they over take?
And anyway, how would they know how old you were, from behind, in a moving vehicle?
I am not saying you are a bad driver, you are obviously very good with that history. But that doesn't apply to all pensioner drivers. I have come across some who are all over the road, drive way below the speed limit and seem to have no idea where they are going. Just as many accidents are caused by slow drivers as fast ones. It causes frustration and makes people drive in ways they may not normally. Like I said at the start not all are bad.
IM 38 AND HAVE BEEN DRIVING SINCE I WAS 17..I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED SPORTS CARS,NOT FOR THE SPEED BUT FOR THE PLEASURE OF SAFE SENCIBLE DRIVING..AT A CHEAP INSURANCE COST.
it boils down to disrespect, no consideration for others, got nothing to do with your age mate.
