Are cyclists in London immune to the rules of the road?

Yes, there has not been a lot of publicity but it is clear that all cyclists in London know that they do not have to pay any attention to red lights or to pedestrians.
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to knock them off.
If you want to, you can stand in front of them and let them hit you. It will hurt you a lot, but their bike will be broken and you will be able to claim damages

No but it seems as though they are. It's easier to catch motorist for road traffic offences!
I hate cyclists, i think if they get in your way u should knock them down, that'd make them think twice before they decide to pull out in front of any cars
Cyclists most everywhere act like they are. Often with tragic results.
They violate traffic laws and behave as if it were their right.
Recently there was a group acting like idiots that managed to get one of their number smeared across the tarmac by a very large lorry. The policemen who had the happy task of scraping the fool up and trying to solace the driver that had not been able to avoid him, made everyone in the group take a good look at what their behavior had resulted in.
Probably did no good, no grey matter to take an impression.

No you cant, I have been nearly knocked down several times at crossings where they seem to think the can swerve round me. Twice I have run after cyclists when they have pulled over to enter a shop and confronted them. All they say is sorry, not good enough!

They may be immune to the laws of the road but hit them with your 4x4 and you'll see their immunity vanish.

cyclist go through red lights cos thy can and if you you could get away with doing 80mph on a motorway you would and if motorists could get away with going through red lights they would if you could get away with parking on a double yellow line you would etc etc etc etc what abuot people speeding between the speed cameras
I'm a cyclist, but it's not all cyclists who do this. I also have a car licence and motorbike licence so i can also see things from your point of view. I aso have a walking stick so i can see the pedestrians point as well. I only use back streets when cycling where i can and mostly cycle along the canal where i don't have to keep looking behind me. A lot of cyclists are show offs cycling on the main roads.
Do it here were i live almost squashed 2 to night in my truck when they rode of the pavement in to the road without looking.
