Car or Minibus?

I have a large Asian family, there are 9 of us! We currently have a Rover 214 on a T plate, it's 7 years old but is in good condition & regulary takes us all on the family holidays to Bradford. Yasminda my daughter & Bumwinda my son really love sitting in the Hatchback on motorway drives, there my youngest. I also have another 3 sons' together with Grandma & Grandad & my wife Singeater!
My question is I could do with a new car to suite our needs but I don't want to down scale as the Rover 214 has been a very good & reliable car. My budget is 550 pounds. What car should I get for the 9 of us? P.s. I don't really want anything bigger than 1400cc.
Thankyou in anticipation!

I hope you can see your car from your shiny 14th floor windows.

I would suggest a new mode of transport is needed here.

Perhaps inspired by our friends in more northerly climate such as Finland ?

How about buying 2 old Honda 90 mopeds. These can be bolted togetter to form a 4 wheeled powerhouse that coud sit in front of a trailer. A bit like dog and sleigh

I'm sure Yasminda and Bumwinda would be delighted to sit up front and steer.

The whole family could then sit on the trailer behind, the level of luxury could be determined by the size of the cushion each person sits on, obviously with Grandad Balwinder up front on the highest cushion.

you might need to consider putting a roof over the vehicle as I believe it rains occasionally in Bradford.

You might also consider getting a previously owned petrol tank, maybe one from a car explosion, and bolding that to the mopeds to increase your cruising distance.

Anyway must go, I'm experimenting with bolting wheels to my narrowboat so I can skip to the canals in Ireland without any trouble.

Good luck
hope all 9 are not in car at same time.
Minibus
Minibus
The car will be smaller to carry all of you ,so buy a minibus.
The problem with a minibus is the very high insurance cost, at least double the Rover, if you decide to buy one then try minibus plus, an insurance company for a quote..

I think you will have difficulty buying an MPV to seat 8/9 on your budget, especially if you are looking for relaibility as a priority
