Why has valentino rossi decided to do rallying?
Answers:
Because he has won every championship there is to win and he is looking for a new challenge.
Agreed - probably as its something different. I think he's still going to race bikes though isn't he? Not sure how good he is as a rally driver?
Because he can. Also you can't fall off a car, so it hurts less.
because he wants to spread his wings
i think he said he finds it more challenging than moto gp or f1,he feels you need more skill for rallying,i read he was asking for a car to be prepared so he could compete in new zeland.
He's trying out a lot of things, to see what he wants to do after MotoGP, which is still his main work. He's also tried a Formula One car and a touring (racing) car.
"Rossi, who embarrassingly crashed into a ditch in the 2002 rally of Wales but impressed last year in the Monza Rally, was quoted as saying, "I don't know yet if I'm ever going to contest races on four wheels (full time)."
He has a Yamaha contract for MotoGP in 2007.
because his father also done a bit of rallying. he also used his number 46 on rally new zeland.
because after all these years he realised that cars are so much better than bikes. yep!
Rossi has never raced superbikes, he races in the MotoGP championship. He likes rally cars as the are a different challenge for him. He has raced them a few times and has even beat Colin McRae at a special spectator stage.
