What is the average age of a commercial airline pilot?

Answers:
it depends you probably start flying airplanes commercial airplanes when you are like 28yrs. old or around that but for really big jets like jumbo jets i would say 35 yrs.( in the industry)so like when you are 60yrs. old but in order to fly a private jet you can start young but not super young.

here is some information on all types of things and all types of information i want to also be aj airline pilot but now from lokking at how much a airtraffic comtroller makes. well i might now want to be a air trafiic controller. hope this helps you out alot.
Depends on what type of "equipment" you are talking about.
For turbo-props I would say the average is about 35-40 y.o. but for the wide body jets probably 50 - 60 y.o.
about 10,000 years old.
Most commercial pilots are well over past their 30's, due to the long training, and time building time it takes to get to a shiny jet!

This is going to be changing throughout the decade though, as more programs are becoming available to train pilots to get to the airlines in less then one year.
40 yrs
