A Decent Car?
She currently has a rover 100, so any car around that size would be great.
Also it would be a added bonus if the car was able to come with, Central Locking, CD Player, Electric Windows and a sunroof.
Thanks!

Good luck with your search.
A decent car is ANY small car (except a Mazda) made in JAPAN- by Japanese hands. Any other is an open question.
never had one but what about a corsa.
any small foreign car would be good they all last for ever and they are all a good car
Personally, I would recomend anything Japanese. They are not to big and they are reliable. If I had to pick I would go with a carolla or even a camry.
I like Hondas. They are well made and fun to drive and all the Hondas I have owned so far have been fairly inexpensive to maintain. (The author of this posting received no compensation from Honda for this posting. Actual mileage may vary. Offer void where prohibited.) LOL
GMC Envoy
I own a Honda, and like it. However, after becoming aware of the Chevrolet Cavalier I have seen many with over 200,000 miles on them that I am impressed.
Almost all cars are good these days if they have been taken care of. On the other hand, any car can be bad if not taken care of.
get one of them Ford Ka's. My wife used to have one. cheap to buy, cheap to run. Not a lot to go wrong. Good starter car !
honda civic!
Defo a Seat Ibiza
As a woman married to a mechanic, having owned 2 corsa's and both being bloody awful, I'd recommend a golf or polo. German cars rarely go wrong and the parts are dirt cheap from german and swedish (stick it in google, its a company). They're realy comfortable too. I have a 51 plate corsa (selling as its horrid) and an old g reg golf, i'd take the golf any day.
If you go to www.parkers.co.uk you can search by insurance and safety groups and get full reviews, plus see book value prices on any car from P/R reg onwards.
Hope this helps!
i have a Peugeot 206 and its ace i also used to have a corsa and that was a good 1st car!
Go for a polo. They are fantastic. You may struggle on the extras as VW are a little tight but they make up for it in quality. Other than that peugeot 206/7. There is a new one just out. You can get a 24 hours test drive at peugeots main website or local dealership.
Buy Japanese, it will be better all the time. Not! No car is fully anything. That means that no car is fully designed, developed, parts manufactured, and put together in one area. Just so you all know, Honda and Toyota both have plants for their cars in the states. And besides, when talking about "Japanese" cars, why doesn't anyone mention Nissan?
That being said. I would buy something that is cheap on gas, easy to maintain, and easy to drive. I would look at Saturns. They are very reliable, excellent on gas, and have the ability for many options. Other options include Volkswagen, Toyota, some Chevys, some Fords. But I would still think about the Saturn.
My top rating goes to a Pontiac Sunfire. My first car and absolutely loved it. Also cars like Dodge Neon, Chevy Calalier, Chevy Cobalt, and Pontiac Grand AM/Prix.
Nissan Micra should fit the bill
