Non-disabled drivers who use disabled badges.Cunning stunts or Stunning c*nts?
Answers:
Yep, annoying if they arent entitled. However its nearly impossible to tell. I'm a care worker and our people carrier at work is vital to get our disabled clients about. They each have a blue badge which they can use in whatever vehicle they travel in. If i'm arriving somewher to pick em up, i often get lots of evils from the public if i'm on my own. Its so useful tho when you have a challenging client who is difficult to handle and has bad mobility cos if you cant park close it may be too much of a risk to take. The sad thing is that if somebody complained, my clients badge would be withdrawn until we could re-apply for it. I know someone this happened to in a smilar situ to mine and it really mucked up a heavily disabled persons life for a couple of weeks. Apparently they've tightened up on the blue badge scheme now so its harder to get a badge, maybe that'll help.
Some non-disabled drivers use them if their passenger is disabled. My elderly aunt has one. Not that it gets used, she can't drive anyway.
What about the non-disabled drivers that park in the disabled parking place even if they don't have a sticker!
People who do this are most likely dishonest about other things as well. Don't want to know one or be-friend one. Because I don't want to know what else they do that is wrong.
They have no conscience!
Their day will come.
I think most of the people who truly have them don't need them either.
I think they should have their legs amputated and then they will legally qualify for one
they are lower than a snakes belly - its disgusting
I think they are selfish people.
Despicable behaviour.
Well, they're obviously dishonest and lazy.
its hard to tell if someond far example had a heart condition so couldnt walk far and would qualify, but many just take the p.
like the guy in the caterham 7 sports car that used to jump out sprightly enough and had a disabled badge.
there are probably a few of these also claiming benefits as disabled when they shouldnt.
There is a ready market for stolen disabled badges, all the wide boys in the city are getting them [London].
they are total and utter wankers. when me and my wife go to the super market you always find the chav bastards in there mark 4 escorts or 1986 b.m.w. parked in the disabled spot and when you question why are they parked there you always get a right gob full. IN CLOSING IF YOU WANT THE RIGHTS OF A DISABLED PERSON WHY NOT JUST GET RUN OVER BY A BUS AND YOU WILL SOON FIND OUT HOW HARD IT IS TO WALK OR PUSH YOUR SELF IN A WHEELCHAIR. HAVE A BIT OF CONSIDERATION AND KEEP YOUR CAR OUT OF THE DISABLED BAYS. would you also think narrow minded people like mr mike hunt really know what he is saying or is he living up to his name. mike hunt drop theH bring in the C.
Idle b@$£@rds if you ask me. What really winds me up is when they use a parent and child spot when there are about 10 times more disabled spots anyway.
I feel the same way about it.cause I'm disabled..so,here is my view.anyone that parks in a disabled parking spot is.They may not appear it,but being a kind of person that would take that spot anyway means that their thought process is disabled. Many times I feel like setting their car on fire..and some day I probably will, with them in it.
I think that non disabled drivers that use blue badges should be disabled so they do.To do this make them walk 500 miles with half a dozen 6" nails in their boots
You can report them. Call the non emergency number for your area and give the location and license number.
Sometimes the non disabled person is there to pick up someone else who is disabled so don't be too hard on them until you have all the facts.
My wife is disabled and can usually walk with some difficulty on her own going into a building, but if she has to walk very much or stand while there, she will barely be able to make it to the car. She is one you might have seen walking with a slight limp into the building and wondered if she deserved the handicapped blue card.
And yes I have seen healthy people park in the handy spots and trot for the building only to see them trot back out. I once mentioned to a fellow he had accidentally parked in the handicapped stall.
He said. "SO?"
I said, "Well you don't appear physically handicapped, it must be a mental condition."
He glared at me but got in his car and left because he knew he was in wrong.
they ARE disabled
--they're blind
just get out the car with a limp ;)
or apply for under your parents or someone old you know
my dad has one for his dad and he died 2years ago
A lot of people who can walk normally and have a heart condition can get pass, so shut up.
Wheelchairs are not the ONLY requirement to get a pass.
Don't forget that some people are disabled but don't show any obvious physical diablilty. My mum had lung cancer and was given a blue badge because the cancer attacked the nerves in her shoulder and arm which meant she had little feeling in that arm. You can't get a blue badge ligitimately without actually being disabled.
