What is the maximum weight off a jumbo jet that it can tack off?
Answers:
777-300ER’s maximum takeoff weight 759,600 lbs
I recon 1000 tons! Some smart **** will give you the exact answer but mines best!
I don't think it's a matter of weight. If the power is there then there can be no limit to the weight. A plane can weigh thousands of tons and still take off if enough thrust is applied.
You usually get this info in the in flight magazine they give you, try the websites it depends how big the jumbo is in the first place.
that would depend on the area. it could be a million tons, you could have the power, but it couldn't set off becuase there isn't room for it to launch.
Well, I reckon that if you empty the swimming pool and get rid of all those casess of suet, it's still pretty darned heavy.
That depends upon the specific model of the airplane. They're all different.
Depends on many variables such as the weather, runway length, temp, humidity, runway gradient, the condition of the aircraft, how much load is on board.
If you just want the Max permissable legal takeoff weight for an "average Jumbo" a ball park figure would be around 230,000 kg.
By saying Jumbo Jet, I assume you mean, the biggest. That would be the Airbus A380.
Airbus A380 Passenger 560 metric tonnes or 1.235 million pounds
Airbus A380F Freighter 590 metric tonnes or 1.3 million pounds
These are maximum takeoff weights that include maximum fuel of 81,890 gallons.
The current 747's (the 747-400) takeoff weight is around 413 tonnes. The future version's (747-8) will be around 435 tonnes.
in tonnes atleast
The maximum takeoff weight of a jumbo 747-8, (which is slightly bigger than the 747-400) is 970,000 pounds (439,985 kg). Thrust is 66,500 pounds (GEnx-2B67) and Range is 8,000 nautical miles (14,815 km ) - passenger Intercontinental
4,475 nautical miles (8,275 km) - for the Freighter.
