What is the fascination with grey cars?
Answers:
God knows they are so ugly, i think lemon or pink would stand out better in a busy car park, it could take ages to find a grey car.
silver/grey is quite neutral and so tasteful.
thats bit of a grey area !!
Is something about the look of it that appeals to me. Makes it look metallic, and fast. And also a strong vehicle.
my daughter brought one cause it sparkled when it drove past her so i ain't got an answer but I'm with you on this one
What does it matter - you dont have to drive them so why be bothered ??
It looks understated and sober. Because it is neutral, it is not offensive, and so come resale time, more chance of a buyer.
its got to be better than orange
they are good arnt they
cause it's the style it really brings your face out. and you don't really see scratches on them when it do get scratched
I prefer black to silver/grey. But it has to look really shiny black.
I suppose because thy look expensive, the best part is they are one of the worst colours to see especially in bad weather, most British car manufacturers actually stopped making grey cars in the 70's
I don't know, Red is much nicer colour for a car and it would stand out in the car park much more than a dull Silver car.
Its a safety thing. They are easy to see in shady places or comeing along the road with sun behind them. They also keep cooler as they reflect a lot of the suns rays.
I have a blue car but the same model looks much better in silver (grey), I think it's because silver matches the colour of the wheels and all the other chrome bits.
People buy cars a certain color because they like the color. There's one reason. Silver actually turns out to be more heat-reflective than a lot of other colors, including white, believe it or not, so there is one more reason. Silver or grey have always been associated with opulence, and some really expensive cars even have silver in the name, like the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud or Silver Shadow, so there's yet another reason. Silver or grey are neutral, and even though a color like red, blue, green, yellow, or any of a million other cool colors looks really slick for a while, people get tired of them. Grey and silver are timeless. Grey and silver also tend to hide scratches and dents, whereas darker colors like black tend to magnify them. There. A veritable cable guy's buttcrack full of reasons to buy a grey car. At least the reasons I bought a silver-grey Odyssey.
