The core support is welded in with spot welds. Any good body shop can do the job: make sure they have a MIG welder. At my shop I would probably want $200-$300 to remove the core support and weld a new one in. That's assuming the fenders, radiator, A/C condensor, etc. are already out of the way.

If you want to save yourself some more money, get a drill and 1/4 inch or so bit. Drill out the spot welds that hold the core support in. A pair of vise grips and chisels can "peel away" the metal. Make sure to "tear up" the piece of metal you are replacing, not the side you are keeping. .

Put the new piece in place and hold it temporarily with sheet metal screws.

Take it to a welding shop and have them weld it on. That would be your cheapest route, maybe as little as $50
