Did anyone here learn to drive on one of those week long courses?

How did it go? Are they expensive?

Answers:
I did it and I wouldn't recommend it. I was lumped in with another learner which isn't good because you will always find yourself comparing yourself to the other guy. You drive for 3 hours a day each which is energy sapping. My instructor was awful and when it comes to the test you aren't guaranteed to be taking the test on roads you are familiar with. I did a week driving round Blackpool, my test was supposed to be at Widnes test centre but my instructor didn't know the way! When we got there 20 minutes late I wasn't allowed to take my test because I was so late. He eventually got me a cancellation test..in Liverpool city centre ..on Friday tea time rush hour! My nerves were shot by this time and predictably I failed. As did 9 out of the 12 people on the course that week in my hotel. Cost me £700 for the privilege as well. I wouldn't go near them!

Yes, I done one 6 and a half years ago, I passed first time and it cost me around 400.00GBP
