Does being in an area with more traffic & other pollutants give you more bogeys?

I have noticed since moving to London, my nose is much dirtier. Is it from breathin' stuff in?

Answers:
I suppose it can, but most likely it is not the pollutants that are giving you more bogeys, it is simply the allergens in the air. Mucus is made to stop dirt, pollen and etc. from entering your system so if there is more dirt in the air i guess that would be it.
I live in the suburbs of London, but when I go into central London, I always find that my bogeys have turned black! Hate to think what constant exposure to all that smog & fumes does to people.
lol, yes it does, I live in Scotland and when I go down to Machester to see family, my nose cruds up something awful, it takes me a week after I get back home to get rid of them ..Ugh !
Yeah I live in London and after a day out they turn black. God it's gross. Never had anything like that in Cornwall.
Yes it makes you more prone to allergies and colds. Take extra vitamins and wear a mask if you go jogging or ride a bike.
