Why Honda Jazz?
This would be a very wise purchase. I used to have a civic and it was faultless. Very economical to run and cheap to insure good for resale value as well.
I used to work for Honda when the Jazz was first launched. The Jazz is a good choice of car, also consider a Yaris depending on how much space you need.
Very reliable strong residual values and very cheap to run, second hand they are expensive because they hold there money.
I know run my own car brokerage and supply every new make and model. If you would like an idea on how much a new one would cost, give me a call 01376 514415 or visit our website www.IntroCars.co.uk.
If you would like some info on the best dealers to use for used cars I can make some suggestions in Essex for those who supply our new cars.

I purchased my Jazz secondhand from a Honda dealership last October, I had to trade in a CR-V which I adored, but there we go, anyway, I wasn't that enamoured of this small car at first, but it grew on me within days. The amount of money I was saving on petrol was astonishing to say the least. The parking spaces I could get into were plentiful and I wasn't scared of going into car parks with height clearance things.
The stereo is adequate and the middle seatbelt in the rear has a drop down attachment to make it more like on the side of the car. The boot is spacious enough to get lots of shopping into.
My partner and I between us have done about 11,000 miles in it, since October and it has been trouble free, touch wood. I bought Honda myself because of numerous reviews I had read and heard. So far Honda has lived up to expectations. Long may it last. My next car will definitely be another of these superb Japanese pieces of reliable engineering. (I would like to try the S2000).

I love my Jazz! it is an extremely reliable car and I have had confidence in it since I first saw it in the showroom. The salespeople were really confident of it too because they knew they had a quality product to sell. When I asked what type of oil it needed, they just said 'don't worry about that we'll top it up when you bring it back for it's service in a year's time!
The best thing about it was the price. We paid £7000 for ours, 1 year old, 12000 miles on the clock and it had only been a Honda company car weren't we lucky?
Gloating aside, the interior has a nice high roof and even tall people can sit in the back fairly comfortably and the rear seats fold down flat to the floor or fold up so you can transport yukka plants around (if you want to.) There is a decent amount of space in the boot enough for a substantial trip to ikea with the baby in the back too!
The engine is quiet and goes easy on the fuel and of course, the road fund licence is cheaper than lots of other cars. The ride can be a bit bumpy but ultra smooth suspension always makes me car sick anyway!
Anyway, there are not loads of them about because the lucky owners love them so much but the Honda website is good for tracking them down.
Good Luck!

I bought my Honda Jazz 1 year ago. I have been extremely pleased with it. From the time of purchase to the present day i have had no problems at all. It is a reliable and Economical car. Most of my jouneys are small, however it still manages to do about 45 miles to the gallon which is great. And on long runs it will do even more.
I also love the colour ranges that are available. I would of had the pink one if my husband had of let me but as a compromise I chose the Red which i am very pleased with. I would recommend this car to anyone who is looking for a small car that is spacious. I can fit a pushchair in the boot quite easily which is quite a struggle for some small cars.
personally id get the 1.4 as you dont want to be hamering the car with a 1.2 all the time but good luck in buying!
The Jazz is the UK Consumers Association recommended small super mini. See the review in Which? in your local library. It scores better than any other small car.
