Is it easy to restore a fiat 500?

I am not looking to spend much on initial shell but wanting to learn restoration tips on this small car. Also if anyone has one sub £500 I would be interested.

Answers:
It's a good project car if you don't have much space.
But some parts can be hard to find.
Look for a good interior as these are hard to find parts.
They are cheap to insure and run. But you won't get much return on restoration.
It was one of my first project cars but this was twenty years ago.
I'm working on a Volvo P1800 now.
Spitfires are the easiest cars to restore. Parts no problem and easy to work on.
Why waste your time?
you are brave to try. I bet parts are hard to find.
They are the best cars in the whole world. Ive never had a 500, but I did have a 126. The parts were quite hard to get hold of, but apart from that it was cool.
Try the Fiat 500 club, they are really friendly people, and often have cars for sale too.

Well worth doing. Join the club, we met them in Italy this summer and you will find no lack of enthusiasm.
No hard to work on and big time hard parts to find, don't bother
