i have over 23 years in the automotive field.certified mechanic to sales. if you really want an a3, make dam sure u get an extented warranty. the warranties are expensive for a reason. i inform all my friends to stay away from VW made vehicles. they are expensive to repair and well break down on u. check out myauditt.com and see some comments from owners.

They will find the cheapest dealer and introduce you to them, and their service is free.
Seriously check it out otherwise just go onto www.Audi.co.uk and click used cars. If you a buying a car like this buy from a main dealer and get a warranty.

persdonally i think there excellant cars but get the 2.0 or the 1.9 tdi as there the best engine wise and you can get atleast 45 mpg really you want the new model as the old ones are now dated so your looking at atleast 7500 good luck anyway hope this helps
i have one i paid 7k for it last year 1.8 quattro on a v plate so check out auto trader and play audi dealers up against each other for serviceing as they can come down in price trust me
about 15000-20000 i think
