How much does a mile of travel cost me in a car?

If I'm paying 84.9 for unleaded fuel - how much will 1 mile cost (motorway driving at an average of 80mph) me?

Answers:
Hard to say without knowing
1) The age of your car (Older cars become less fuel efficient)
2) How quickly you accelerate (The fast your get to 80 the more fuel it consumes.
3) The engine capacity of your car (Big engines are less fuel efficient).

But assuming you take the averages, I'd say it would cost you about 7 miles to the litre in highway driving (which is a reasonable expectation), then its cost you about 12p to go one mile.
.37
That totally depends on the mode of transport. ie mini or rolls royce.
Each car has an "agreed" cost per mile. It is a ting for fleet and company car owners. It takes into account servicing costs and mileage, depreciation etc. Go to the manufacturers website to find out.
Depends on the car, driving style, weather, road types, speed limits, traffic. That question has no answer, it is much too open ended.
This varies by car, make and model.

It can be anywhere from 25p to £2 a mile if you include all your costs and issues like value depreciation.
depends on your car (its fuel efficiency) and mainly your style of driving. town driving consumes more fuel if compared to driving at a constant speed on an open highway.
If you drive 100k and use 10 litres to do so, each k will cost you 8.4c
I wish I could give simple/best answer bu it all depends on your car's fuel efficiency, load you're carrying, terrain, proper tire pressure, wind conditions, tolls, traffic conditions, your braking/acceleration habits, etc. Then you have your fixed costs such as the car itself, insurance, registration fees/taxes, inspections, repairs, etc. amortized over the time you own the vehicle.
This depends on whether you are going downhill with the engine switched off, or up hill in first gear only. There are a number of combinations of this, so it would be best if you could try them all.
Here is an excellent article that breaks it down for the "average" car:
The average car gets 20mpg(miles per gallon) at 80mph and you said your paying 84.9 (cents?) for fuel then you fuel costs are.

84.9 / 20 = 4.245

4.245 cents per mile in fuel costs.

now you must factor in the costs of owning, insurance and maintenance on the car.. that will be somewhere around.

Car Cost: $20,000.00 (average car lasts 150,000miles)
insurance cost: $100.00 per month
maintenance: $50.00 per month

car cost: $20,000.00 / 150,000 =1.333 cents per mile
insurance:$100.00 / 1666(ave number of miles per month) = .06 cents per mile
maintenance :$50.00 / 1666 = .03 cents per mile

total cost per mile including fuel, car, insurance, maintenance = 5.6683 cents per mile
An average of 80mph? well, when you get your answer if you were to pass a camera you could add+/- £80 and 3 points to your costs.
Good luck
For an acurate answer you will need,
1-Miles per gallon
2-cost of fuel

If you fill up your tank and drive 100 miles and fill up again you will divide 100 miles by how many gallons it took to fill up with to figure out your mileage. For example if you drove 100 miles and it took 5 gallons to fill up, you would divide 100 by 5 and would end up with 20. 20 would be your miles per gallon. Then you would take the cost of one gallon of fuel and divide 20 by that amount. So if it was 2.00 a gallon you would divide 2.00 by 20 and your cost of driving 1 mile would be 0.10.
I use veg oil in my car @54p per litre, so the answer is so little I really dont care! ;-)))
i think the government will allow you to write .33 a mile for business purposes
A lot cheaper than the british transport system
