I have a Harvey Frost & Co Vulcaniser. What is it? and how old.?

Answers:
Without seeing it, it would be hard to date it.
Vulcanising is the method used for repairing tyres, the other use it could have is for repairing rubber bushes but without seeing it I'd almost certainly say it's for tyre repair.
Harvey Frost & Co are more well known for their breakdown recovery cranes, but were a large British manufactuer of automotive workshop and breakdown equipment used the world over.
I used to work for the police, and we used Harvey Frost trailers to recover broken-down police cars and stolen vehicles. They used to have a factory on The Great Dunmow Road in Bishop's Stortford. I often went there to pick-up spares for the trailers.

This was a few years ago.. like about 30 years ago.

A vulcaniser sounds like something to do with tyre repairs
