How do i measure the oil to fuel ratio for a 2 stroke motor bike it has to be 35/1 ratio?

Answers:
A good approximation (32/1) is for every gallon of gasoline, you'll need 1/2 cup of 2 cycle engine oil.

Or for every 4 gallons, you'll need a pint of 2 cycle engine oil. (I believe most 2 cycle engine oils are sold in pints)
Bung in 3.5 litres of petrol and 100ml of oil.
1 gal petrol =32 1/4 pints so to a gal the nearest is 1/4 pint or just under gal is 5.5 litres so 1/4 pint would be about right
first of all, im sure its 3.5/1 or a capfull to the gallon. too much oil and your plug will oil up and it will run like a smoking pig..if you can get it to start that is.
take an empty container suitable for flammable liquids it should hold a gallon. Take another container an old jar or similar, fill the container with 1 measure of oil ( IE the jar) and 35 of the petrol. If the container is see through these positions can be marked on the out side.
Every owner of a 2 stroke bike using pre-mix has and uses
a "ratio rite" cup. It has every ratio known, on the cup. Add oil to the ratio # that's marked on the the "ratio rite" cup and add it to one gallan of gas. Directions included.

There are 128 ounces of gas in one gallon. To get the exact oil amount needed, simply divide the ratio wanted into 128.128/35 = 3.66 oz of oil per gallon of gas. A 32:1 ratio would be 128/32 or 4 oz of oil. 40:1 is 3.2 oz. Most motorcycle shops sell a ratio cup. It gives you the measurments needed to mix any ratio with 1, 1-1/2, or 2 gallons of gas.
Most two stroke bikes have a separate oil container,,just fill it up and it will mix with the petrol automatically
use the graduated scale on the side of the bottle, If you are using something which is not 2 stroke oil then dont. buy the right stuff, seizures are not fun.
16 to 1 or 1/2 pint to a gallon works well so 1/2 pint to 2 gallons would not be far out for 35 to 1, however more oil = weaker mixture, so you need a bigger main jet if you use more oil.
For maximum fun use lots of oil, hot plugs, fat spark and blot out the road behind with smoke, works really well with classic 2 strokes like Villiers or Ariel Arrow .
The litres of fuel you have divide by 35, will give you the litres of oil to add. Eg, 10 litres of fuel, divide by 35 is 0.2857.so approximately 286 ml of oil.
Most important, for the engine, is to keep to 35:1 as a minimum, a little more oil wont hurt.
Find out how much petrol your tank holds (see owners manual) and put oil in to a measure of a 35th for each gallon. If not sure always be a bit on the rich side, the worst thing that can happen is a smoky exhaust. But at least it won't sieze up.
