You really should be asking a few local garages rather than Yahoo answers ?
50 million dollars!
Probably close to 1200$ with labor.
''sharp intake of breath''////////////gonna cost ya
about 150
An Astra mk4 is worth less than the price of a new clutch, bin it.
sweetie if there is an autozone around ur area, then u should call around n compare prices.
well you can always go online and to AutoZone.com or CheckAuto.com and you can always find stuff and you know
a clutch kit without fitting will set you back around £75-80. fitting should take no longer than 4hours labour so it just really depends on the labour charge of the garage you are using. no more than 300 or your being knipped
call around to different shops and price it out.
parts about 200 off vauxhall maybe 150 off motor factors approx 300 labour - its easier to take out engine than remove gearbox on this model!
I would not pay any more than £300 for parts and labour.
If your in the uk it is about £150 - £200 fitted ( this is in the north east). it is really easy to do the clutches on these cars and it only takes around 2 hours from start to finish .But prices do differ the futher south you are .
scrap the car mate they are crap anyway
Don't go to a Main Dealer, don't go to a garage go to one of those 'brake, clutch etc;' specialists.
They are used to doing the job and work fast and do not have 'Customer Service Managers' to bull **** you and get paid for it.

around 75 quid for clutch kit,and around about 1 and a half hours labour at anywhere from £15-£35 per hour labour charges,or else tell them where to go! these are really quick and easy to change, and any car mechanic worth their salt will tell you so!
Give Mr Clutch a ring they will give you a price so you will have some idea
Kwik- Fit will give a fair price for this work, and will also do it by appointment, thus allowing you to either wait for it or do a little shopping then return to collect. You will find most garages will want your car for 2/3 days to allow them to fit you in and carry out the work at their leisure.

Should be around £200 depending on model, and take around 2/3 hours.
