The cheapest way to repair them is one of these mobile operators like chips away, they come in a van and can do nearly invisible repairs for less than a body shop would charge for repairing a whole panel.
most of the bodyshops will charge you obsene amounts of money to paint your car e.g painted bonnet, 3-4 hours labour £30-£40 an hour the paint most of them use is charged to you at twice the price they pay about £100-£125 a liter this plus sundries ie sanding paper ,primers, masking materials ect £20 adds up to a lot of money. try a small independant garage what most peopl refere to as back street it will cost you a third of the price dont be put of you will get just as good a job. these garages rely on word of mouth for thier trade and most wont rip you off .
